Curious about washroom facilities, I imagine a separate heated regular building?     Our hot chocolate stayed hot in our travel mugs. That's the only way you are allowed to take beverages inside.      More ...

    Was just thinking too, if it takes two months to build do they take it down at the end of the festival or let it melt throughout the warmer months?

    Kim Kenyon I think they leave it to melt. The festival closed early only once in 2019 due to warm temperatures. The castle flooded.

    Checked with my friend who volunteers at the castle and they take out all the wood and electronics and then it melts into the lake.
