Did you know Yellowknife has 2 Ice Roads!?!
Yellowknife has not just one, but two ice roads! They are very different and can only be explored in the dead of winter.
Welcome to our latest adventure as we navigate the icy landscapes on the Dettah Ice Road and the Tibbitt to Contwoyto Winter Road!
This year, the Dettah Ice Road opened late, but we were fortunate enough to catch it in its frozen glory. It's been a dream of mine to experience this iconic ice road, and I was thrilled to finally check it off my Bucket List!
From the shimmering ice of Great Slave Lake to the rugged terrain of the Tibbitt to Contwoyto Winter Road, marvel at the breathtaking scenery and share our excitement for this incredible winter adventure.
