From Regina, I took Hwy 1 and then Hwy 35 north/east to Fort Qu'Appelle. I could see storm clouds forming in the distance, eventually turning the sky dark and ominous. The skies opened and I experienced heavy rain, thunder and lightning. Got to experience a bit of the landscape in the Qu'Appelle valley..
