The rugged island coastline of NL is home to some of the most magical geological features in the world including freshwater falls pouring into the salty sea below, hidden sea caves, enchanting sea spouts and stacks. While some of these natural attractions can be viewed on land via the East Coast Trail, I prefer to experience them from the ocean via Sea Doo, kayak or boat. On one occasion I ventured into a dark secret coastal cave and was shocked to find a fleet of tiny neon glowing jellyfish! In fact, large sea stacks and rock formations like the ones shown in the video are common sights along the magnificent coast. Sea Kayak rentals are available in multiple locations on the island as well as boat tours. This specific waterfall was spotted while exploring the landscape along the Avalon Peninsula!
