    • I was privileged to have had Robert Bateman as my art teacher in Burlington, Ontario. I remember his artwork lining our high school halls back when you could buy one of his original prints framed for $25.00.
      For years l had a soap carving he made, until my sister used it as just soap and washed her hands with it, ruining it.
      I have a few signed and numbered pieces of his art...Robert Bateman is my all time favorite Canadian Artist!

I love the quote from this article: "At 94 Robert Bateman said he won't stop painting until the end, I'm sure they will carry me out . . . my hands still flickering. It's something I've always done.
