Aga Khan Museum in Toronto Ontario has free guided tours of the Aga Khan Park.
The Formal Gardens were designed by Vladimir Djurovic. It’s not your typical floral garden. Much thought was put into its design; to be harmonious with its surroundings. Our guide was knowledgeable & passionate about the park and pointed out many interesting things that we may have missed if we had not taken the 50-min tour.
Visit year-round for different views of the gardens; from cherry blossoms & magnolia trees in the spring, to juneberries in the summer. If the fall, the juneberry leaves turn red which casts a pink glow.
Tours are Saturdays & Sundays at 1 pm and Wednesdays at 6 pm. Make sure to register in advance. Parking is $10.
