We spent an evening sailing on the Hamilton Harbour and watching a beautiful sunset on the water. Also known as the Hamilton Bay, the Hamilton Harbour is located on the southwest end of Lake Ontario between the cities of Burlington and Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Hamilton Harbour supports one of the largest concentrations of heavy industry in Canada with steel being the main exported cargo. Being the largest port in Lake Ontario, it is not uncommon to see large freighters coming in and out of the Hamilton Harbour. In addition to being considered a major shipping centre, the Hamilton Harbour is a popular location for recreation and boating activities on the water. A number of parks, trails, sailing clubs, marinas, and industries line the shores of the Hamilton Harbour, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
