Every morning, this dedicated group of pickleball players meets at the Long Point Lions Club tennis courts in Port Rowan, Ontario, Canada to play this popular sport. Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong using a paddle and a plastic ball with holes. Going into this game, we knew most of the basics, but these skilled players from Port Rowan, Ontario, took us on a pickleball learning adventure. Players of all ages gave us tips to improve our skills, and we discovered the joy of playing pickleball in the beautiful lakeside town of Port Rowan, Ontario, Canada.

The equipment for pickleball is quite simple. You need a racket and a ball to get started! I learned that even though the balls look similar, the size of the hole indicates whether or not it is indoor or outdoor.

Some mornings we played pickle ball in Port Rowan, and the sun was very hot, We always had water with us because hydration is important before, during, and after playing this active game!

I wonder if the ball moves as fast as in ping pong. -
Kim Kenyon I guess it depends how hard you hit it, but I think the small holes in the plastic ball help to slow it down.
