We took a canoe trip on the French River in Ontario, Canada. We paddled through winding waterways and enjoyed the natural beauty of the French River, Batt Bay, Old Voyageur Channel, and Georgian Bay in Ontario, Canada. We paddled our way across some channels that feed into Georgian Bay, as well as some beautiful windy and rocky areas. We finished our days with a campfire and watching the sun go down on the French River in Ontario, Canada.
The water had some current, so we went for a relaxing float in our life jackets. It was nice to get out of our canoe for a bit, and a great way to cool off in Ontario, Canada.
It takes some practice to master the canoe selfie and have it include both paddlers, the canoe, and some beautiful scenery on the French River in Ontario, Canada.
Due to the rocky terrain, at times there wasn't a spot to put our tent pegs into the ground. We used rocks to help make sure our tent did not blow away.
Calm evening water made the view from our campsites spectacular. We turn over our canoes each night to avoid them accidentally floating away or filling with water if it rains.
The views from our campsites were beautiful. These rocks were a great place to relax and take a quiet moment after a busy day of paddling on the French River.
