As I traveled along Hwy 35, it was clear that a storm was gathering. I wanted to reach the Qu'Appelle river valley before it rained. Would the rain hold off until then?

This tree stood out on the flat prairie land. Storm clouds continue to gather on my way to Fort Qu'Appelle.

It was raining so heavily it was difficult to drive. The only option was to drive in the opposite direction, away from the rain.

Very beautiful scenery in the Qu'Appelle valley. The sky was still undecided about further rain but it made for a vivid picture against the dark sky.

As I drove away from Fort Qu'Appelle, the scenery was so green and lush. A beautiful area.
