Nicola Lake north of Merritt BC Canada
Nicola Lake is approximately twenty-two kilometers long. IOn a recent road trip to the area, I left Merritt and travelled north on Highway 5A. I soon came upon Nicola Lake. It was a very cold and windy day. Most of the lake's surface was frozen although I did see several places where there was open water. There is fishing on this lake, including ice fishing.
