The Chilliwack Tulip Festival in British Columbia Canada lasts approximately 3 to 4 weeks each spring. This year I've visited just as the blooms are getting started. Many of the fields are filled with tulips ready to open shortly depending on the temperature and amount of sunshine. It is exciting to walk the fields and see so many beautiful flowers. The countryside surrounding adds to the experience. The mountains make a lovely backdrop for photos of the tulip fields.

We visited the Farm Shop and checked out the many items for sale including cut tulips and hyacinths as well as potted ones. There was a food truck on the grounds with an additional one(s) planned for the weekend crowds. 

Just over an hour from Vancouver, this is a day trip you do not want to miss.
