I recently spent the night welcoming the beginning of fall that gave me total Salem (Massachusetts) vibes! In the heart of downtown Calgary, Alberta, Canada, uniquely situated on the Elbow River, you will find this hidden gem among piles of development. This 100 year old home sits on a lot with three twin homes.
I was told a local architect, Witold Twardowski owned the homes for many years until he passed away in 2022. Now, a developer owns the lots and it can only be assumed that we will soon loose these charming heritage homes. Go check it out and enjoy the historic value, before it is lost to the simplistic nature of modern design.
Superhost, Rhiannon, is very friendly and available to answer all your questions about this fantastic heritage home.
The River Cabin Airbnb is pet-friendly and offers an extra secure closed gate off the back porch overlooking the Elbow River.
