The Castle River Bridge Campground is open from May to September annually and is one of the few campgrounds with power in Castle Provincial Park. All campsites in this campground are reservation only on the Alberta Parks website. There is no cell service here so plan ahead.
The Castle region has endless outdoor opportunities for adventure seekers.
The campsites vary in size from small tent sites to large sites that can cater to over 70' units. Located right along the Castle River.

While there may not be a playground for kids at the Castle River Bridge Campground, nature makes the best playground anyway.

The Castle River has a beautiful little beach right by the campground. I have seen it get very very busy on the weekends in the summertime.

Jumping on a big wooden bridge is quite the thrill apparently. So is the spring runoff flow down the Castle River.

The Castle River Bridge is a great starting point to wander up or down the Castle river. There are unofficial trails all along the way.

There are only a few day-use picnic tables available at Castle River Bridge Campground, they are found near the bridge and day-use parking. Parking can only hold a small number of vehicles, maybe 6.
