50.9787845, -118.7418712 these coordinates will help you find a pullout on the logging road, which is basically right beside the falls. When you step out of your vehicle you will hear Gorge Creek nearby. There is a small trail entrance into the forest and a hard hat marking the way in. The trail quickly disappears as you climb over fallen trees and moss covered ground. Within a few hundred meters straight east from the logging road, you're greeted with beautiful views of the falls. It is hard to get a good view of them because the way the landscape is. I think if I had of followed the river a bit further south, I may have found a lower viewpoint. But I was happy with what I did see! This forest was like a fairytale, all moss covered and foggy. We also found a small frog hopping along. Located in the Columbia-Shuswap region of B.C.
B.C Parks website says it is hopeful to rebuild the Gorge Creek Falls official trails again soon!

The views along Gorge Creek are gorgeous. I imagine the closed trail from the south part of the river up would be beautiful. I actually learned about the closed trail after I visited the falls, when an older local recommended the hike. After I looked up what they described, I realized we'd already found it, just a different way.
With the foggy air, and lack of actual trails, you'll quickly loose sight of where you parked. Although Gorge Creek Falls is not far, a few hundred meters, you'll want to stay aware of which way you're going at all times.
Along the logging road in Craigellachie you'll see a roadside pullout. If you look up Gorge Creek Falls on Google Maps, you should be directly west of the falls at this pullout area. You'll find the unofficial trail here.
Nature is a beautiful place. You never know what you'll find. I don't know what kind of mushrooms these are, but they looked neat all wet from the foggy mist of the forest.
Once you've found the pullout on the logging road, you'll notice a small trail leading into the forest. You should hear the creek from here and see a hardhat upon entering.
This is a full size bear spray canister and this mushroom is over half the height! Not sure what kind it is. Found near Gorge Creek in British Columbia Canada
