Fed by springs below, the ink pots colours vary depending on their fill rate. The slower filling pools are a little murky and more green. In this pond you can see the circles where the spring bubbles up.

I’ve never made it past Johnston canyon to see the ink pots yet! Those are really cool - remind me of Yellowstone National Park!
