The Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge is yet another beautiful attraction in Golden BC. The bridge was built with local timbers to honour their forestry industry. Additionally, the bridge has a Swiss design intended to honour the heritage of Swiss Guides in Golden BC. The Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge is the longest freestanding timber frame bridge in all of Canada. The bridge is in the heart of Golden's downtown at Spirit Square and connects with the Rotary Trail that runs along the river and throughout the town.
