We really enjoyed our guided tour of the Legislative Assembly of the Northwest Territories. It was fascinating to learn how traditional teachings and practices were incorporated into every detail of the building and the running of the territory. Looking across Frame Lake towards the Legislative Assembly you can see the outer ring of the building has many large windows. These windows are in the Ministers' offices. They face onto the lake so that the Ministers will be keep the land top of mind when making policy decisions.
