Fletcher Falls are found along Fletcher Creek just south of Kaslo British Columbia Canada. Along the shores of Kootenay Lake, there is a short steep trail down to the waterfall and day use area. Additionally there is a small campsite located at the bottom as well. Mainly used for boaters off of Kootenay Lake. The trail consists of many switchbacks, but it only takes about 5-10 minutes to arrive at the base of the falls. Alternatively, you don't even need to go all the way down to see the waterfall. After only a few hundred meters, you'll be able to see it as you hike down the trail. But getting to the bottom is worth it for the small bridge, boardwalk and view. Many waterfalls are not easily accessible during the winter, but Fletcher Falls was an easy trail to do in the winter months. Optimal conditions for a winter waterfall hike.
