The Chateau Fontenac in Quebec City is Canada's most photographed hotel and the city's most famous landmark. Chateau means castle. This luxurious hotel of 610 rooms and guest suites has perched atop Cape Diamond since the late 19th century and many famous people have stayed there. At an average price of $600 CA per night, I did not stay there but wandered through the lobby pretending like I was a famous guest there too.
