Since we visited in December the sun sets early so it gets dark quickly after the sun dips behind the mountain range. We arrived late in the day and started our hike shortly after 4:00pm. Hence our decision to do the short 1 km hike and to explore the property. Regardless, we had fun on our little Rocky Mountain adventure.
