Parc de la Chute-Montmorency is a four-season adventure park centered around the spectacular Montmorency Falls, located just 12 km outside of Old Quebec City. At 83 m in height, the waterfall is 1.5 times taller than the famous Niagara Falls! The park is a popular day trip destination for adventure lovers, offering spectacular views of the towering Montmorency waterfall, the Saint Lawrence River, and the Ile d'Orleans from a cable car, the dining terrace of the Manoir Montmorency, or La Barrone observation deck. Visitors can explore the park from hiking trails and boardwalks equipped with many viewpoints and lookouts. More athletic sightseers can climb the cliff on a panoramic staircase with 487 steps, while more adventurous tourists can cross a suspension bridge over the lip of the falls. Those looking for an adrenaline rush can cross the falls on a 300 m long zipline, or traverse the cliff face on the Via Ferrata. A great place to visit in any season!
