Close to Nanton in southern Alberta is a beautiful body of water just outside the range of the rocky mountains. Beautiful scenery, nice playground over looking the lake, there is a decent concession stand (don't show up 5 minutes before close haha), a large non powered campground and some of the best fishing in the area!

Closed during the winter months but a great place to visit during the summer for a bite to eat or a cold ice cream
