A cute little roadside pull out along HWY 3 brings you to the banks of the Crowsnest River near Blairmore Alberta. Here you will find what they call the information centre for Frank and Blairmore, the 2 neighbouring communities. You'll learn who uses the Crowsnest River, what trails are in the area, as well as some history of how these communities came to be. This sunny day was perfect to stop for a quick stretch on our road trip. But I have stopped here in the pouring rain to set up a bbq to have lunch on the sheltered picnic table! A fantastic spot no matter the weather. Maybe throw a line in and try some fishing! The Crowsnest River is a fantastic fishing destination.
