The Oldman River is huge, basically running from one side of the province to the other. I noticed searching for boat launches on this water body was a bit difficult, so thought I would add another.
This time we're headed along the eastern portion of the province/river, opposed to the other 2 boat launches listed in the west near Pincher Creek Alberta. Just north of the town of Taber, you'll find the beautifully treed in Taber Municipal Campground right along the Oldman river. Convieniently, directly across from the park, over the bridge, you'll spot a long, bit of a steep boat launch into the awesome Oldman River. An excellent river to fish, float and just explore!
Very important to clean drain and dry your boat before moving it around to different bodies of water. Without doing so is how diseases and invasive species move around so easily unfortunately.
