Displays are new for 2023 at Pumpkins After Dark in Calgary Alberta. Located at Winsport Canada Olympic Park. With many different kinds of displays and pumpkins to view, it really gets you into the Halloween vibe.
Pumpkins After Dark is Canada's largest Halloween event and there are a few locations across Canada including Milton and Ottawa Onatrio, Burnaby British Columbia, as well as Edmonton Alberta.
Take a walk through over 10000 pumpkins that are hand carved. The pumpkins cannot all be made from real ones, or the displays would rot quickly in the chilly weather. The foam pumpkins used allow the displays to stay in perfect shape throughout the entire event.
There are real pumpkins available to purchase and real pumpkin carving demonstrations.
Celebrate all things Halloween starting September 22 2023 straight through until October 31 2023 in Calgary. This is an annual event, so make it a tradition!
You must purchase tickets in advance online at the Pumpkins After Dark website.

The littlest adventure seeker and I have been able to come to Pumpkins After Dark for the last 3 years. It was fun to bring Adventure Seeker Cary aka Mom aka Nana out this year too. Rocking her awesome personalized adventure seeker mug as usual!

Strollers, wagons, wheelchairs. Everyone is welcome at Pumpkins After Dark. It is a steep ramp beside the luge track, but well lit and easy to access.

I found there to be a lot of crawley insect displays this year. It's great that the displays change each year, helps keep the event fresh for everyone to keep coming back and enjoy.
