Eagle River is an important fish habitat, especially for the ever adventurous traveling salmon.
In the summer months, this is a popular local hang out spot for the kids. It's a great swimming area and they have a rope swing under the bridge into the river!
The fall colours looked amazing reflecting off of the calm waters in B.C.
Just minutes away from the Crazy Creek Resort and Hot Pools, Malakwa is a fantastic destination to spend some time with the family. Have brunch at the Malakwa Cafe then take a hike through town to the suspension bridge

The Eagle River is an important fish habitat, especially for the salmon that travel all the way from the ocean to do their spawning in the rivers. British Columbia Canada is home to many suspension bridges! I have lost count of how many we have found out in the west. Between train trestles and suspension bridges, it's an adventure heaven in B.C
The scenery was much different on this trip to the suspension bridge. I was last here in the summer of 2020. Everything looked different! Right to the colour of the water. Was a beautiful trip down memory lane visiting Malakwa.
Typically, you're surrounded with beautiful mountains views from the suspension bridge in Malakwa. Today we're treated to a bit of a different view with fall colours and low lying clouds.
