My favourite Christmas market ever. 4 locations packed with amazing vendors. You're likely to find The Grinch with Max, as well as Santa outside with his REAL reindeer. A wonderful magical destination market, and zero cost for admission! Photos with Santa and the Grinch for a fee. Crossfield Christmas Market is every year in early November.

When I was a child, Woodward's (a family-run retailer in Western Canada that is now no more but, was the largest grocery store in the world in 1952, so take that Costco), would start the season off with Santa's arrival with reindeer. The reindeer were kept in an enclosure which included a shed and hay. While they never came out of the enclosure which was right outside the store next to the Santa castle, children were allowed to feed them carrots (for I imagine a fee). I found the reindeer to be even more exciting than a visit with Santa! More ...
