This is such a great article to help people get into camping. I had never heard of Harvest Hosts, possibly because I don't own an RV, but I immediately fell in love with the idea, and most especially the Alpaca Adventures!

Sonya Richmond that sounds like an amazing adventure...and a chilly one. The yurt must have been neat. I have always wanted to stay in one of those.
-
Sonya Richmond WOW! Way to go, did you have a heater or stove for your tent at night or just your sleeping bags?

The Iron Horse Trail is really beautiful, and has a lot of interesting towns and attractions along it - I definitely recommend it! Canada does have its own Caminos, which are each quite different, but a great way to keep the Camino alive. Have you walked or cycled any of the European routes?

Agreed! There is something magical about being in the mountains in winter that is unlike anything else. I think one of my favourites so far is the Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix (very small mountains), but there are so many left still to explore!
